The values
Walk the field · 5 of 8 · blue ring
The blue ring is what the company believes. It is here because it constrains the work, not because it decorates it.
- Technology — built to be understood, not to be depended on blindly.
- People — software that gives time back, rather than taking attention.
- Sustainability — a business that can pay for itself without selling its users.
- Access — the good version should not be the expensive version.
- Nature — the physical world is the point; the screen is the tool.
Written down, and binding
/why is the short answer to why this exists at all. /constitution is the long one — four parts, and it sits above the code: values first, then capital, then doctrine, then the declarations, then whatever the software happens to do this week. When they disagree, the higher one wins.
You can read all of it. That is the test of whether a company means any of it.
