What we are

Not Rest is the action platform for creativity and intelligence. We build agentic systems — platforms, tools, and products where humans and AI act together — and we ship them as a family of focused products that compose into one platform. The name is the thesis: nothing begins at rest. You choose the action; we handle the rest.

The category we are building toward is an Operating System for Action — a composable economic system for turning intention into reality. The short version of why lives at Why; the full worldview is the Constitution; what the system can already do, with evidence, is on Platform and Proof.

The project family

• tell.rest — the storyteller. Tells stories into being.
• dig.rest — the researcher. Turns the world's firehose into causal understanding.
• rig.rest — the harness. Rigs the machinery that runs it all.
• riff.rest — the remixer. Riffs on what exists to make it new.
• mend.rest — the mender. Trust-and-repair for delegated work.
• not.rest — the platform that composes them, with doors like do.not.rest (consulting) and us.not.rest (community).

How we build

Agent-first, by doctrine: every meaningful capability is a declared agent with explicit authority, budgets, and evidence; delegation narrows going down, accountability composes back up, and nothing irreversible happens without approval. Our own front door runs on this system — its agent declarations are public at /agents/index.json, and every deploy is blocked unless code and declarations agree.

The design language borrows from nature and science — fractal, swarm, emergence, morph, fluid, cellular — topologies you can see moving on the home field.
