Progress & risks
Not Rest Inc. · Capital · 7 of 7 · What we said, what happened, what could prove us wrong
A missed milestone explained honestly is worth more than a polished slide. The recent record, and the beliefs we are testing:
Shipped, recently
- The agentic front door — nine declared agents, kernel, conformance-gated deploys.
- The workshop — seven lessons on using AI properly, free, on this site.
- The philosophy — five categories, every enforceable claim enforced.
- mend.rest — the trust-and-repair system, live as a development instance.
- This capital system — the company in evidence, with its communications state machine gate-enforced.
Beliefs and falsifiers
- Belief: declared accountability earns trust. Falsifier: visitors never open the receipts. Test: do people reach /agents/index.json and the repo?
- Belief: one small team plus the harness can ship across verticals without quality collapse. Falsifier: defect rates rise as surface grows. Test: the public record of each ship.
- Belief: community-sustainable finances can carry real products. Falsifier: donations stop covering what the products cost to run. Test: dig.rest and tell.rest staying up, openly.
Follow the progress
This page is the living record — it changes as the company does. To follow along, write do@not.rest with the subject “follow progress” and you'll receive the updates as they land. Following is not a financial relationship; it's a front-row seat.
Questions, diligence, disagreement: do@not.rest — or just tell the field. The arrows loop back to the thesis.
